Thank you for your interest in applying to the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) at the University of Chicago! This application page is for the following PME graduate programs: 

• PhD, Molecular Engineering 
• PhD, Quantum Science and Engineering 
• Master of Engineering (MEng)

For all other graduate programs, please visit the UChicago Graduate Admissions website. Please visit the College Admissions website for undergraduate admissions. 

Application creation instructions:

• UChicago undergraduate applicants interested in the Master of Engineering are encouraged to explore the Advanced Scholars (ADV) program to determine eligibility, and if eligible, apply directly to the ADV application: careeradvancement.uchicago.edu.
• All applicants should choose Regular as the application type to apply for all doctoral and master's degree applications. 

The application for 2026 entry for PhD and master's programs has closed. Do not start an application. You will be unable to submit the application. 

The application for 2027 entry will open in mid-2026 for our Master of Engineering, and early December for our PhD programs.
